Edmund Burke said all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.

Romney seems to me to be more of a weathervane type politician, who does what he thinks will win him popularity points. In the Peoples Republic of Mass, those were popular positions. Some even argue that it is the duty of elected officials to represent their constituents’ views. If he’s just a weathervane, we will have a fighting chance to influence policy.

There seems to be no real chance of a committed red-diaper baby like Obama coming our way for any reason, other than disarmament, incarceration or the like. I don’t think we can afford two more communists on the Supreme Court for the next thirty years. It really is either Obama or Romney for the future of our Republic.

C’mon. Take the GOP-e blinders off. Romney was an abortionist/homosexualist/statist long before he ever ran for office in Massachusetts. His whole damn family was that way. Mama, papa, all. Godless/statism/abortionism was instilled in him since childhood. Lying to gain advantage/power, too.

And he held that position (abortion should be safe and legal in America) ever since his abortionist mama ran for senate 40 some odd years ago:
