Having eaten at both, I vote for Five Guys. They give a much tastier burger.

Having eaten at In & Out in Irvine CA, and Five Guys in NY, we prefer Five Guys in our family too. However, we much prefer the burgers and fries at a small hole-in-the-wall place in Central Jersey. Every chance we get, we opt for White Rose burgers on Raritan Avenue in Highland Park, NJ.

At one time, White Rose was staffed by ex-cons getting their first job out of the clink.

Another craving is for a slice of pizza from Lighthouse Point Bowling Center on Rt. 1 in Florida.

Some food experiences leave a strong impression, and these two remain on top for us.
