Still carrying a grudge against a country that has made Chris Rock wealthy and famous way beyond where his waning talents should've taken him, this was how the once-interesting and once-edgy comedian celebrated the 4th of July on Twitter today:

Prior to the civil rights era there was no “black culture” in any meaningful sense. It was a creation with a purpose of dividing and it was created by democrats. Even worse is the way democrats have deliberately kept blacks ignorant as surely as the days when teaching a slave to read was a crime.
During the Holder vote last week on C-span a black called called on the democrat line and claimed that republicans are trying to take us back to 1888. LOL
I agree with you. It will be deeply satisfying, if TSHTF, to see 95% of leftists get what 95% of the leftists get when things fall apart. I’ve read the history of the Soviet Union and China ... guess they haven’t.
(I agree, but I feel bad about it. If it happens, though, I’ll be too busy with basic survival to feel bad. Looking at my yard of sad, brown grass, I think, “To previous occupants of this site, this was a FARM.”)
The WORLD had slavery.. Some still do.. Like the DEMOCRAT PARTY!
Chris Rock: “Poor”, downtrodden black.
The middle-aged Southern lady said "alive today." A little reading comprehension glitch is all in good fun, but mistaking "Tax-chick" for a man is ... sad.
Thanks: it's very hard-won. Had FR had a more professorial clientele, I'd go on about how the only-Whitey-is-racist ploy is like Zeno's Paradox: something obviously absurd but damned hard to think your way out of.
Anthony Johnson was an indentured servant from Angola. When released at the end of his contract he received the land he was promised and became a free farmer.
Johnson himself hired an indentured servant from Africa. At some point a fire on Johnson’s farm destroyed the contract. The indentured servant wanted to walk away and Johnson wanted him to stay. The case eventually went to court and Johnson won the right to dictate when the contract was up. Johnson simply declared that the contract was never finished and true slavery was born in America.
Chris, the last time I heard, you’re getting paid beaucoup bucks as a comedian and living in a big house on the Jersey Palisades, instead of picking cotton outside a big house in South Carolina for three hots and a cot in the slave quarters. So yeah, it’s Independence Day for your ass, too. And remember, no matter what the stripper says...there is no sex in the champagne room. None.
And his Guatemalan maids and butlers will enjoy the fireworks tonight as well......
Well the first problem is any white person paying the slightest attention to this guy. BTW how many black people invented Tweater?
Anyone want to get up a collection to buy the man a one-way ticket to his beloved Africa?
It didn’t, because it wasn’t.
Just a list, which works just fine....
Just a dim plantation racist.
LLS
Indeed, a list is fine, and yours was accurate. The formatting just suggested an anagram.
Rock, you should lead the migration to Liberia. It was created expressly for people like you.
So Wikipedia said. Most interesting.
Thomas Sowell has observed that research into pre-colonization Africa has suffered because the fact that black-owning-black slavery and slave trading was universal is unacceptable to modern scholarship.
Not this whitey.
“They are the other side of the coin that the KKK is on.”
###
Perhaps.
However, the KKK is highly ostracized, and a tiny marginal presence at best, while the hugely destructive BlackRacism industry is deeply imbedded and accepted, in all aspects of modern American culture
I hope he does and a big lion chews on that ass.
