He’s actually got lots of friends, so that’s not too much of a problem there ... both online and in real life. He kept in contact with many on Free Republic through his mailings to people (people who signed up to be on his mailing list), and he sent out a lot of prayer requests for others who would write to him about things (”troubles”) and he would send on prayer requests to the mailing list.
As far as his “ramblings” ... as some might say ... that was always so typical of a lot of the writings that Quix did and he always said he was never accused of being brief ... LOL ...
But, with me and what I’ve always been concerned about ... he’s always been a dedicated Christian and he still is. Some of the political things that he would get into - would have connections back to Christianity and have to do with prophecy - but from a political angle. Maybe if someone didn’t know about some of the Biblical prophecies, then they would think that the political stuff was crazy - but then again - there are a lot of people in society who think Christians are crazy and certain dedicated Christians are even crazier. So, that’s nothing new.
And then with his UFO material that he was quite involved in - it stemmed from what the Bible seems to indicate on that subject and also ties in with Genesis 6 - and if someone didn’t know that - and just read some of the “end conclusions” that he made, they might think that it was crazy - but from a Christian standpoint and one that is significant in certain legitimate Christian circles - there was some “sense” to it.
Anyway ... as with anything ... people who are “unfamiliar” with something tend to discount it or disregard it and put it down. I found a lot of his stuff to be very interesting - because it did come from a Biblical and Christian background.
And by the way, that’s one reason why you won’t find Quix supporting or involved with the ROMNEY-BOTS because those of the Mormon persuasion are a CULT GROUP (in terms of Christianity and the Bible). And that would have motivated a lot of his statements about Romney.
And as for me ... I just won’t vote for a CULT GROUP LEADER for President. I want nothing to do with a CULT LEADER being in the office of President of the United States of America (and I didn’t vote for Obama either ... LOL ... and don’t ever intend to do so).

Because most people are fearful now and when their back is against the wall, their yellow belly shows itself more, protrudes more.
It’s always easy to say what one believes, but when push comes to shove, their beliefs aren’t grounded and they fall prey to whatever .... spreading their fear, accuse others of not supporting their fear, can’t handle others not willing to bow to evil. It gets them more fearful and nuts! Nothing good comes out of fear which is evil based.
