Last time I saw, the Neo-Nazi 'Golden Dawn' party in Greece did quite well in the Greek elections thanks to the EU induced monetary crisis in that country. Stable, prosperous countries don't degenerate into extremist nationalism, but the EU isn't exactly promoting that. The EU Government is more like the Yugoslavian Federal Government circa 1990..
