Once upon a time I lost an argument with an AK-47 in south east asia. While I was bleeding on the battlefield, I say and angle, that angle told me I would be OK ... lo and behold I made it.
If this person said she saw an angle, I believe her. Why the angles were there is not something within my purview.
Was that angle obtuse or acute?
When my younger daughter was 4, she got into an upstairs bedroom and pushed out a window screen, causing her to fall out of the 2nd story window. Somehow, she landed on a breezeway roof and then fell perfectly onto my wife’s unusually large tomato plants (caged, not staked) and survived without a scratch. My daughter told me that two angels turned her so that she’d land on the plants, instead of the deck. I have no doubts.
That must have been very comforting and special for you. No doubt in my mind that there are people who are given messages of love and hope during their darkest hour by angels.
I didn’t directly dispute it, only pointed out that good and bad angels both exist.
One classic role of the good angels is to help people “who will inherit salvation” i.e. Christians or those who will later become Christian. That doesn’t mean good angels cannot do more, but this is one of their few biblically outlined roles. And it’s a warning that if an angel seems to be acting oddly, to exercise scripturally enlightened discernment about whether it might be a bad angel.
