SOUTER IN ROBERTS' CLOTHING
Ann Coulter.com ^ | 7/20/2005 | Ann Coulter

Maybe Roberts will contravene the sordid history of "stealth nominees" and be the Scalia or Thomas that Bush promised us when he was asking for our votes. Or maybe he won't. The Supreme Court shouldn't be a game of Russian roulette.

For all Coulter’s many flaws, and I have all but ignored her in recent years, she knows the Court pretty well. After Levin, she is near the top of the lists for good commentary.

Whoa, that was the Ann we used to know. Now she is Roberts light.

Roberts was nothing but a privileged background. Harvard, Renquist, big law firm partner. Hardly a profile in courage.

Roberts can never repair his image. He’s ruined forever, even if he voted 100% with Scalia/Thomas for the next 20 years.

He is the one man most responsible for the destruction of this country.

Yeah, Ann, congratulations. You called it.

And just think, when your boy Willard is coronated, you can just change the name and republish the same article with every judicial appointment since he's promised more just like John "The media loves me" Roberts.

If my memory is correct (and it is...that is sort of the obligatory “if”), Ann warned us of this fag Roberts. (She didn’t point out that he is gay, but the knowledge was there for anyone who cared to look).

She took some heat around here for protesting Roberts.

But, obviously, she was spot on.

Ah. I see now that this was her write up from 2005. So I didn’t need to remember this at all.

Ann warned us.

And if it wasn’t for protests from conservatives like Ann Coulter and many Freepers, George W. Bush also would’ve saddled us with his crony down the hall, Harriet. Bush could’ve easily gone 0-for-2 on Supreme Court nominations! Thank God we at least got Samuel Alito. I don’t see him drifting to the left to kiss Obama’s ass anytime soon, like Roberts did.

He is the one man most responsible for the destruction of this country.

This has been a long running group effort, and he could have knocked it down for a while, but like Jason, they keep getting up.

Fact is we need to recognize that the two parties at their core, have the same long term goals.
