While I appreciate your sentiment, personally, I don’t think the dissolution of our constitutional republic is simply an “emotional issue.” It’s not a temper tantrum over a candidate.
So to your line of thinking it was perfectly fine for democrats to fly The Stars and Stripes in distress mode when they believed the country was being destroyed?
Get hold of your emotions!
You do have the right to fly the flag inverted however it is in very poor taste, insulting and weakens the intent of distress mode communication!
Flying the US flag upside down is an SOS, stating that we are in distress and require immediate assistance. It means we may not survive without help from another. To whom are we reaching out for assistance? China? Are we citizens no longer able to help ourselves?
