Me too.
If I did that I’d have to leave it in distress for the next 4 years. Since we aren’t likely to move it right regardless of which liberal wins in November.
I struck my colors almost a year ago.
I fly the Confederate battle flag now.
Putting up a new flag pole tomorrow...but only flying the Gadsden Flag and Sons of Liberty Flag until that Jug-Earred Communist is thrown out of the White Hut!
Awesome idea
Too soon.
Confidence, optimism, and defiance are true American patriotic qualities and are what will attract voters to our side.
We will do much better in November without all of the pessimism and despair.
I appreciate the sentiment, but I am afraid you are going to accidently insult veterans, etc.
I would think a Gadston Flag or the like could convey the same idea, but not run the risk of accidental insult.
Still, I say good for you. I've had neighbors stop and ask why, and I've told them why. Haven't had one of 'em say yet they support Obamacare or the USSC. Turns out flying one's flag upside down is also a way to engage their neighbors in political discussion.
I am flying the Taunton Flag tomorrow. “Liberty and Union.” 1774.
Thereafter I am flying the First Navy Jack until November.
I only have Three Flags I fly anymore
Gadson Flag
Battle of Gonzales Flag (Come and Take it)
and the Flag of the Great State of Texas
If I had a Bloody Arm of Goliad Flag I would fly it from time to time as well
I have been flying the Gadsden Flag since the Marxist took over, except for Memorial Day and Veterans Day when I fly the Betsy Ross Flag.
I’ve been flying the Navy Jack since the 08 election. Both sides of our family have strong ties to the Navy. The other flag I fly is the ‘76 Bennington. Seems that Spirit is being renewed.
I don’t fly the US fly anymore. I fly the Texas flag, and dream that it is the Republic of Texas, and not the Great State of Texas. I’ve said it many times before, I want a divorce. Entering the Union was not a suicide pack. I would prefer an amicable divorce - divide up the property, sign the papers and go our separate ways.
Gadsden flag for me. Many vets consider it an offense to the flag to invert it unless a true distress situation.
On June 28th I took down the American flag and put up the Texas state flag and it will remain up until things turn around.
I Fly the Betsy Ross Flag on the 4th
Not wishing to sully her with the forseeable shame of the ObamaNation of Desolation, I “triangled” and shelved Old Glory on January 20, 2009; after the Santelli event I got around to putting up the Gadsden in her stead.
So it shall be until the Stepson of Perdition is replaced.
I recommend saving the “distress signal” until you need someone to come to your literal rescue. Otherwise, it’s like calling 911 to complain about Solyndra— valid complaint, wrong methodology.
If I recall correctly, a navy ship hoists it’s flag up the ship’s highest point as a message to all approaching ships that it is a ship at war.
I’m flying the National Color, the Marine Corps Standard, the Gadsden Flag and First Navy Jack.
I’m still proud of Our Nation and Our Corps but I still want to send a message of my disdain for our current administration by flying the Gadsden and the Jack....
“Don’t Tread On Me!”
