“badly rusted”.

There’s probably a story here...some guy brought them out there five years ago for a purpose. He got whacked by someone else, and the weapons were lost to ‘history’.

Now, it would be interesting to know if they were bought within the US and who was the original owner, if that were true.

Aw, a little rust won’t hurt an AK. If they were full auto units it would be hard to pass them up.

The badly rusted thing caught my eye as well. Especially since this is not very far from Tuscon and Davis-Monthan AFB aircraft boneyard. You know, the place that was chosen just because of the conditions there to be one of the best for minimal rusting of metals? Almost none.
