The Obama campaign has seized on remarks made by Romney adviser Eric "Etch-A-Sketch" Fehrnstrom this morning on MSNBC, to the effect that the individual mandate in Obamacare (and Romneycare) is not a tax. Fehrnstrom allowed Chuck Todd to push him off message--and re-ignited the fears that conservatives have long had about Romney's will and ability to fight. In response, conservatives--who had just coalesced around opposition to what many now call "Obamatax": Mitt, start fighting, or give up and let someone else do it.
Fehrnstrom's point--in defense of Romneycare--was that the Supreme Court was wrong to uphold Obamacare under the taxing power. The individual mandate was never intended to be a tax, Congress never called it a tax, and it wasn't a tax in Massachusetts, either. Fine--but now that Obama's lawyers went to court and called it a tax, and Chief Justice John Roberts called it a tax (and spare us the non-distinction between "tax" and the "taxing power") Obamacare is, undeniably, a massive tax on the middle class. Obama lied. It's that simple.
The GOP primary is over, and this is not a mistake that Fehrnstrom can merely shake away. It's going to be used--and already is being used--by the Obama campaign to save itself from the tax argument, and to label Romney as a liar (when that label belongs squarely on Obama, who campaigned against Hillary Clinton's individual mandate in 2008). Perhaps this is why Rupert Murdoch has been calling openly for Romney to "drop...old friends from [his] team and hire...some real pros," as he did on Twitter yesterday.

All those words to cover the fact you lied and got caught.
Just like any other liberal. That’s what they do you know...get caught with their own words and lie about it.
As for the rest, I told you several times now. Like with my other debate partner, I am sorry that your reading comprehension is sorely lacking, but if you spent less time campaigning for a liberal and more with a good course, you could change that.

Rumors of your demise were greatly exaggerated?
You are either Conservative or liberal. That is what this election is about. All the faggoty false-dichotomy fear mongering about which liberal is worse won't change the fact that if you vote for a liberal then you're voting for a liberal.
Oh what the hell....
“It’s gonna be Romney or Obama.”
Your stated “OPINION” since either of them could potentially not ‘be’ the candidate and you cannot today prove they ‘will’ be.
“Who do you prefer?”
To clearly again answer your question, Sarah Palin. Followed by Virgil Goode. Followed by me.
There. AGAIN, a clear answer.

“It’s real simple, patriot. If you prefer it’s Romney then say Romney. If you prefer it’s Obama then say it’s Obama.”
I do not prefer either. I feel they are both the death knell for America. I prefer Palin, followed by Goode, followed by me.
Why do you not get this?
If the delegates abstained, at best there would be time to only get Romney and Santorum on the second ballot. But most of these delegates are Party officials. They will not do it. (To be on the ballot, a candidate must have the approval of five state delegations. Unless someone could prepare that ahead of time, only Santorum fits the bill.)

There you go again...applying fact to a liberal voter’s fantasy ;)
|
Pretty much.
“What I want to get is an answer.”
And I have repeatedly given you one. Three in fact.
“The choice is and very very likely will be Romney or Obama.”
That’s one possible choice. But in reality, the laws, rules and regulations governing you and I allow us to vote for anyone up to and including Mickey Mouse as a write in vote. Do YOU deny this? If so, please explain how and why this is not so.
“Who do you prefer is the victor?”
Sarah Palin, followed by Virgil Goode, followed by me. I cannot make this any clearer.
LLS
Watch, I'll show you how. I see my hands says: Can you say that? Or do you prefer Obama? |
Oh wow. Haven’t heard from you in ages. I hope all is well...Coming up on an interesting election. I think we will win it though....electricity just came back on after 3 days.
For people tired of hearing liberal voters on FR demand the answer the “Which one, Romney or Obama?” question, cut and paste the following.
Fact: US election law states we can vote for any candidate we choose.
Fact: There is no law in America dictating an ‘either or’ choice at the polls. We ‘can’ choose either, or, someone else entirely or none at all.
Fact: The question itself is a logical fallacy.
Fact: Conservatives have a choice to either vote for a conservative or abandon their conservatism by voting for a liberal. There is no possible way a conservative can vote for a liberal candidate and maintain his conservative beliefs, regardless of the reason. Any person attempting to justify a vote for a liberal as a conservative thing to do does not understand logical reasoning and should be avoided.
I think Romney is a suck ass RINO to say the very least. I hope space aliens abduct him tomorrow and Palin becomes the Republican nominee. But given the choice as it’s almost certainly to be I will exercise my right to vote for a conservative candidate and let deluded liberals vote for Mitt Romney, thinking they are doing the conservative thing.
