Pick out a polling organization you trust, and then watch the trends. stay away from Real Clear Politics polling average. They include all polls even those with a proven bias which muddies the water.

That is who I use, because he uses likely voters, and he polls at a consistent rate across the nation. He does national polls and state polls.
