Morning everyone. Sitting up brooding over the events of the past week. These are evil times. Will we ever recover from it? Will America ever get back to where it was? Will people wake up and see what’s going on?
Yep things are bad but there's no doubt in my mind America will be in the sunshine again soon!
She probably has a honey do list though...sigh.
I wish I had your optimism, p6. I normally can buck up and look at the bright side. I wake up and can’t sleep and just dwell on things.
Yawning like crazy now! Might have to go back to bed soon!

They are doing great. Went and bought an air conditioner yesterday. They live on the third floor of an old apartment building and there’s no central air. They got a Home Depot gift card as a wedding gift, and drove to a Home Depot in Allson Park to purchase one.

Add me to the “couldn’t sleep” bunch. So much on my mind too...daughter’s baby (first grandchild, we know its a girl!) is due just about any day now. That’s the “happy” on my mind. Then there is all that is going “on” in the world...why I couldn’t get back to sleep.
The massive storm power outages are awful—some places no electric til the weekend. Similar weather patterns forming again today. PA was lucky—we had horrible wind& heavy rain Friday night and amazingly kept our power (which for my area is unheard of). OH and WV have a lot of outages (along w/DC, VA and MD).
I have to watch the potato bomb vid yet. I went straight for the BACON BOMB video! LOL! I love the “Hungry Eyes” song near the end! Hahaha!!! GOT to share it with Mr. S, though I can’t say it’s a something he should be eating though!
Incidentally, speaking of bacon; We made our own homemade bacon sundaes for dessert last night! They were EXCELLENT!
I hope all goes well with your daughter and her baby. My niece is due any day now as well. We already know she’s having a boy.
You know things are bad when events on the national level are keeping us awake at night.
I looked at the map where the storms hit. It went right around Indiana County. All we got was lightning and no high winds or rain. Armstrong, Westmoreland and Cambria (to the west, south and east of us) were all hit.
The bacon sundaes sound excellent for the 4th. Maybe I can talk mrs p6 into trying them.
I liked that caller who said Jim should watch his back. Brad was done a wonderful job.
Still haven’t made my mind up on Roberts. It’s going to take some time to digest all that Brad was saying.
I’m going to go back to re-listen to the show at work later. I had to run off to shower. Wish I had a radio in the shower! LOL! I work alone in the basement these days, and it’s really nice because I can really focus on the shows as I work.
Prayers for your niece for a safe delivery...i say we plan now...your grand nephew, my grand daughter—Prom 2029!!!
