I’ve read that Bonnie and Clyde both favored BARs.

I haven’t tried the X-TAC yet. I have used PMC .223 55gr and it was flawless.
Most of my 5.56 is Privi 55gr M193 boat tail, and it works great too.
I’ve also used the Privi M855 and found it good also.
I still haven’t tried out that Frog Lube yet, But I’ve got a few days off from work this week, so I’ll try it on the pistols and let you know what I find.

Well; my personal favorite is Magpull because they have such great calendars.
On a more serious note, I have a friend who is current LEO and former US Army that says metal magazines are a vital part of malfunction clearing and has demonstrated why.
I also predict that I will be contradicted several times on this and that you will receive a ton of good advice here.

I’ve had no problems with PMC either. Good stuff and price is very reasonable for brass case ammo.
Hey. They’re talking about the Froglube again.

I only played around with a BAR when I was in armorer school. It was already obsolete and the current light MG at that time was the M60.
If I remember correctly, it has a pretty heavy duty recoil system and a heavy bolt assembly. This combo can really tame down felt recoil. I saw some fairly small Army gals at the school that could easily handle the M60.

Speaking of triggers, I installed a Northwood trigger kit in my KelTec P-11 last night.I'm going to heat my p11 trigger and straighten it some, I've been told its an easy mod.

As far as AR mags goes, I’ve used Pmags, C-Products, Thermolds, Tapco, Palmetto State.
I’ve never had one fail. Poly or metal. I think if your just going to the range, most of them are fine.
Different story if your going to war.

I thought of trying that but when I started seeing all the testimonials about how good the Northwood trigger is I decided to pop for buying one.
I did try the KelTec trigger shoe on the original trigger and it really didn't help much.

I like polymer mags too. They don’t dent and I think they’re lighter.
But I’ve seen this guy use metal ones to clear malfunctions. It’s so efficient that I always carry at least one metal mag.
