One of the better movies I have ever seen. I have no idea how accurate it was.

I doubt if another actor could have done what Walter Brennan did. In portraying Pastor Pyle, he was jumping around and dancing in front of the church singing. “Give Me That Old Time Religion” and did not look at all silly.

I have to run out to the store before it closes. The water was off all day here, broken water main, and the intersection to get out of my cul-de-sac was blocked. Couldn’t get out this morning.

Water came back on about 40 minutes ago and the barricades are down. Be back in about an hour.
