A welfare queen or illegal can go to any hospital in the country and get FREE medical care. If obama gets his way, a veteran can have his legs and arms blown off in Afghanistan and go to those same hospitals and have to fork over bucks before he/she is even seen for care. “Excuse me doc...I don’t have any arms, so can you take my wallet out of my pocket and take what cash it takes for you to help me.”
Make him veto it and piss off another 15% of the voting population. Find some emergency funding to help the Military... GOD bless them.

There are places in the DOD budget to cut that would not effect the pay or benefits of the Troops or the over 65 retired Vets.
They are spending money like it is water to do stupid things at our Navy base in Millington, TN. And they do it every year, so they can ask for MORE money.
Last year they repaved the Commissary parking lot...didn’t need it, installed stuff like anchors as statues that were not needed.
This year lets see ugly huge speed bumps at the Exchange and Commissary where the speed limit is 5 mphs. They shut the main gate, where you get IDS, stickers for your car and passes for delivery trucks. Fairly new buildings too. Moved it all down to gate 2. Which has no guards on the weekend and you have to have a PIN number to get in...so the retirees have to use the back gate as it is the only one with a guard.
When we went from a training base to BUPERS we had 1 admiral...now we have 14. And the prices at the Exchange went out the roof. Commissary prices reflect the economy and are as expensive as the civvie grocery stores...which doubles your coupons up to .60 cents. I can shop Kroger’s cheaper than the Commissary now, plus I earn .10 cents off for gas if I spend a $100, .20 @ $200 and so on. Base gas is Citgo and higher than civvie stations.
TFL co-pays went up in Oct, we are facing a $200 deductible in 2013, and $300 in 2014 if this goes through..and over 65 retirees don’t get big raises in their COLAS IF they get one that is. Income is FIXED just like SS people’s are. Oh, and our Medicare is going up too.
Those who passed their EVALS this year are not going to be promoted...I read the Navy Times headlines each week. And 0 is going after the Mid Ranks to retire before they are career invested instead of going after the 30-40 year career invested and start promoting from the bottom up. And the older Brass do NOT do any training, that is the Mid Ranks job.
