‘JR was an ivy leaguer, law clerk, big firm lawyer. They are all about money and prestige, not substance.’

It has been enjoyable watching the higher education bubble destroy legal education. Watching these kids show that the only reason they are in law school if for the bucks by demanding that schools almost guarantee them a job. You go into a profession because you like it and think you would be good at it. If it’s just for the money your toast, well except at the JR type firms that waste so much of our economic resources. Giving a Doctorate for three years of just memorizing something is a travesty. Degree inflation.

There are thousands of spoiled brat eco-warrior lawyers who are making nice salaries at NGOs funded part by Gov’t and part by foundations like the Tides Foundation. These POS lawyers are really jamming the system and putting honest Americans out of work
