To him, of course Massachusetts would never be a mistake. But to him it WOULD be a mistake to wish it on all states from above through a misbegotten law whose pure-Democrat vote the reaction thereto caused the complexion of the House to change in 2010.
Such a person is more pliable than Barack Obama, who only pleases his close lefty buddies no matter what the majority of the US is demanding.
