“Not sure there will be anything left of the country to salvage if the Zero gets in for 4 more years.”
You are both thinking people and came to the only sensible conclusion possible.
I think you need a bib.
Those refusing to see the truth for what it is will help the Zero get in for 4 more years. I’m not voting for Romney because he’s a conservative, and I couldn’t care less what anyone on FreeRepublic says post-election about him, his actions, etc... because if he leans left no one here will be very surprised - and I’ll likely agree with them. After all, he’s not my personal hero nor would he have been my pick had there been a real choice. (My state went for Santorum in the primary.) They only fool themselves if they think there’s going to be a “gotcha” moment here or anywhere else post-Romney election.
HOWEVER -
Those who refuse to vote for him will be responsible in large for the Zero getting in for 4 more — and there likely won’t be a Free Republic after that. (And I personally would rather have voting for Romney on my conscience than helping the Zero completely destroy what’s left of this country to the point of no return.)(Those who disagree can mock all they like, but history never shows dictators and tyrants to be tolerant of dissent in any form. They ignore history at their peril.)
It just won't work.
You know, some of you guys were so hateful toward Sarah Palin back in 2008 I'd almost suspect you of having been the Mittbots who tried to turn down her church.
Little did those ol'boys know that Protestants move from church to church with an ease that defies the imagination of those who attend highly structured and legalistic churches where they tell you where to stand, where to sit, and what building to do that in ~ unless you have a high ranking church official's approval.
