If it hasn’t happened so far, not likely to. Not without strong leaders as a majority in both houses of Congress — and I don’t see that on the horizon since true statesmen appear to be few and far between in today’s climate.
And yet, you are the one who claims we will be holding Myth's feet to the fire with such outstanding and "principled" "conservative" leaders as McConnell, Boehner, Cantor and McCarthy. They are, each and every one, whores like your boy Romney too busy lapping up lobbyists' cash just like your and their hero Romney to EVER resist Romney. Just by party affiliation, they will occasionally RESIST Obozo so long as it does not offend those who pay them off.
If you are looking for "statesmen," you are looking for love in all the wrong places. Small wonder you can't find 'em.
