And since the SC said it was constitutional then folks will say Obamacare is A-Ok.
The tax argument's will not fly since most American also think it is A-Ok to tax for such “good things”.
And years from now when it all fails, the public will be told the fault lies with Republicans, business, hospitals, Drs, Insurance, or big Pharma.
They will NEVER be told that big gov is too blame, and will vote in Dems who will fix it with compassion.
Same old, same old.
Don’t think so, but time will tell. I do know that Americans hate taxes and won’t react well to being told (and it WILL be news to some, unfortunately) that this is “the biggest tax increase in our history”. Especially not in these economic times. I call bogus on these polls that show a more favorable rating for Zero because of the tax. No way. Wait and see. When people aren’t out on vacation, spending time with families, and they start paying attention they will be screaming for repeal. (I’ve just read some of the House members from bipartisan districts who are saying EVERYONE in their district hates it and wants it to go away.) I’m betting there are more like that than not. Sure, Pelosi’s district may be hyperventilating with excitement, but would anyone really expect anything different from that arena?
