Yes We Did ,I do not think some realize How BIG. Incredibly big. Let's see what does the decision do:
- Says that the power to mandate can be implemented as a tax.
- It then follows that taxes may now be placed on things not done/bought.
- It further sets precedent that the Courts may alter laws.
- It virtually guarantees an unlimited government, via the current "commerce clause" and the new "taxes."
- It further cements the current government in its contra-constitutional mindset: if we can get away with it for long enough then it's Constitutional.
- It legitimizes a level of state surveillance on non-crime committing citizens in a manner that would make Stalin proud: the IRS now has open access to your bank records.
- As per the above, you are now considered guilty until you are proven innocent: this is the only way to justify the above.
