TRENTON — In a dramatic use of the powers afforded the office, Gov. Chris Christie announced this morning he will force the Legislature into special session at 11 a.m. Monday to give a speech on tax relief.

“Continue to move forward by letting people, and not government, enjoy more of the earnings produced by their own labor, or take a step back to repeat the days where taxes are the answer to each and every challenge,” he said in the one-page letter.

So let me see if I understand this right... Christie is using his powers as an executive to try to force a reduction in taxes, while Obama signs the biggest tax increase in history?

I know these things aren’t related, but boy, that tax increase has to be firmly attached to Obama.

The NJ Legislature is almost totally Democrat and Monday being a legal holiday means Christie is sticking it right up their old kazoo.

The libs in the Legislature in NJ and the Unions are terrified of this guy and he can bitch slap them with impunity. Why? Because he stood up and did what he said he was going to do, Like Scott Walker did and in one of the bluest of States he has an approval rating over 60%

Why can’t the rest of our people learn from this?

Anyway you gotta love the guy even if he is a RINO.
