I know this has been a talking point for a long time but the bill technically did originate in the House. It was the "Service Members Home Ownership Tax Act" which the Senate then used amendments to gut and insert the language of ObamaCare.

Crass, deceptive, plainly offensive to our democratic processes and yet all perfectly legal.
