You might be a little too optimistic, but there is truth to what you say. Tuesday in the Oklahoma US House District 1, a Republican incumbent who was reasonably conservative, was upset by a Tea Party supported very conservative candidate.
Welcome new Representative Bridenstine to the US House in January. He is NOT beholden to moderates or Rinos.
This is not my District, but I am pleased.
BTW, Oklahoma has 77 counties and all 77 voted against Ubama in the last election. (I hope it truly was not the LAST election in our fragile Republic.)

Well thanks for that, I try to stay optimistic because it is against my nature.
Optimism is a requirement for a free nation. If we become pessimistic we tend toward totalitarianism.
Congratulations to Oklahoma. I am quite surprised because I thought Oklahoma City was pretty Progressive.
