Thanks for posting this well documented article. This information ought to be more wide spread.

Yasser Arafat was the protegee of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Amin Al Husseini, a close associate of the Nazis. In addition Arafat studied in the old Soviet Union in the late 1950’s.

True - There has not been a nation called Palestine.
True - There is no language or dialect known as Palestinian
True - there is no Palestinian culture distinct from that of surrounding Arab ones
False - there has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians at any time in history.
True - Only after the Palestinian leadership comes to terms with Israel's legitimacy and recognizes it as a Jewish state can one begin discussing the emergence of a Palestinian state that lives in peace beside the State of Israel.

There are always ways to omit parts of history to revel a sought after conclusion. Misinformation works to serve people’s dogma.

Few documents had such far-reaching consequences in the modern history of Middle East as did the Balfour Declaration of 2 November 1917. It was drafted by Zionist leaders, revised and approved by the British war cabinet, and forwarded by Lord Arthur Balfour, the British foreign secretary, to Lord Rothschild, a Zionist philanthropist and one of its drafters. It consisted of a single sixty-seven-word paragraph:

"His Majesty's Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of the existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country."

The area known as the Promised Land in Old Testament is the same area referred to as “Palestine” in the Balfour Declaration. What better word for the non-Jewish people living in the non-Jewish communities in Palestine could there be than Palestinian?

These conundrums increase when Palestinian currency, birth records, and history are considered.

The history of Palestine is the study of the past in the region of Palestine, the region between the southern Mediterranean coastal plains and the Syrian interior. Situated at a strategic location between Egypt, Syria and Arabia, and the birthplace of the Abrahamic religions, the region has a long and tumultuous history as a crossroads for religion, culture, commerce, and politics.

The region has been controlled by numerous different peoples, including the

Ancient Egyptians
Canaanites
Ancient Israelites
Assyrians
Babylonians
Persians
Ancient Greeks
Romans
Byzantines
Sunni Arab Caliphate
Shia Fatimid Caliphate
Crusaders
Ayyubids
Mameluks
Ottomans
British and modern Israelis and Palestinians

Other terms for the same area include Canaan, Zion, the Land of Israel, Syria Palaestina, Southern Syria, Jund Filastin, Outremer, the Holy Land and the Southern Levant. Modern archaeologists and historians of the region refer to their field of study as Syro-Palestinian archaeology.

Why euro "elites" have championed mideast Arabs as "Palestinians" is something I haven't been able to grasp except for coarse anti-Semitism that has endured in Europe for several millenia. Why else would they have so much affection for a people like the mid-east Arabs who had scant numbers in the land they claim and who treated the land like a waste-heap? Here with the Jews they have a people who were returning to a land they had been forced off for two thousand years by a cruel occupier and whose numbers had been slaughtered by one of the worst genocidal regimes in history. You'd think a "fairminded" people like the Euros would love Israel.

But they hated it from the beginning. Even when the Jewish state had mostly socialist policies governing it for many years, the Euros still hated them. And the people they're championing over the very successful Israeli Jews are mostly composed of primitive types who like Jihad, honor killings, and laziness as guides for living. The only reason I can think of why Euros despise Israel is hatred of Jews.
