Perhaps prayer is what the “right” is supposed to fall back on. Lincoln called for prayer and fasting and for the nation to humble itself before God to end the Civil War. How many presidents of late remind us of that purpose of Thanksgiving Day?
We lost the culture wars because we are an all or nothing philopshy.
