"ObamaCare" stands, but the battle over the law is far from over.
In its 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court ruled that the so-called individual mandate could be upheld only because it fell within Congress' authority to tax. However, that is not how the Obama administration originally sold it.
In fact, in a 2009 interview, President Obama adamantly rejected the notion that the penalty for not buying insurance amounted to a tax hike.
"You can't just make up that language and decide that that's called a tax increase," Obama said, scolding his interviewer.
Now that the high court says it is a tax, Republicans say the law will be more unpopular.
And the fight will surely go on.

Will they now repeal their unfettered ability to tax us as well. That is effectively what Robert’s did today. He gave the green light for the federal government to have “unlimited power” to tax us all for absolutely everything or nothing at all. There is no reason to be objective or fair. There is no equality as far as the tax system goes.
Republicans, STFU! I’m sick of you all of you and have been for a long time. So, sit down, take your licking from obama and shut up!
There is no such thing as “Obamacare.” It should be referred to as the “Obama/Roberts Tax Increase.”
-----Now the 5 LIBS on the Supreme Court have endorsed the view that he was lying.
Or that he is an incompetent lawyer.
I propose 10,000 billboards with pictures of the 5 Justices and the text:
Supreme Court Rules Barack Obama a serial liar
Lots of Senators who said that taxes would not be raised are now proven by SCOTUS to have uttered falsehoods. Repeatedly. Landrieu, McCaskill, Stabenow, Nelson of Florida and the rest all branded by the SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES as propagators of falsehoods.
REPUBLICANS CLAIM....
'Nuff said.
Spin.
The (R) spines couldn’t pull repeal off if you put them all together and bound them with titanium cords.
Prove me wrong. PLEASE.
But I’m not counting on it.
