Mitt Romney is raking in the cash as Americans try to digest what today's Supreme Court ruling on ObamaCare means for them.

I am in marketing and advertising and I produce and review a lot of email marketing. Romney sent two emails this morning, one addressing the decision and the second one, a pretty stock fundraiser email asking for donations. The 2nd email was nothing special but marketing is all about targeting and today every email he sends lands in the box of someone who is pissed off and wants Obama gone. I expect his $$$ numbers today will be epic. I usually only give to conservative interest groups and tea party type candidates but Mitt got some today and will get more if needed. The alternative is unthinklable.

I never donate to politicians. I don’t think there can be a bigger waste of money that a private individual can do than donating to a politician. Even if I liked Romney I wouldn’t donate.

Well, I’m glad you posted this Milt. It’s the encouraging word I needed to hear.

The first thing I thought of when I heard about the decision was buying another gun. Since I bought two last weekend, I really could not justify that, however.

So I donated $50 to Mitt instead. Not a whole lot, but I did not think I would donate any this year. Gotta do something and that is the best message I can send.

Come November, it may be time to go Galt.
