Yes, of desperate, convoluted reason. Roberts has sanctioned the most despicable, behind-closed-doors, partisan Congressional bill in history, one that could not have passed but by bribery, kickbacks and betrayal of the so-called pro-life Democrats, one that is massively opposed by the majority of the public. It gives the Pompous One an advantage in November. The next election will indeed be about judges, as 3 of the current judges are nearing retirement. It is impossible to rationalize anything good about Robert’s own constitutional betrayal. Maybe he didn’t want Obama to criticize the court in his next State of the Nation speech. Anyway you look at it, today was a tragic day for our constitutional republic, and Roberts has sealed his reputation for all time.

We already know that Obama picks bad judges. The best one can expect from Romney is more judges like Roberts.

I cannot support Romney anymore than I would Obama.
