I don’t see how families, who are already barely making it month to month, can pay for a mandate. It’s like suddenly getting nailed with another house payment.

Well now that it is a tax it can be “adjusted” for the needy by increasing the earned income tax credit. Just became another avenue for another massive redistribution of wealth.

Wait until people selling their home 1-1-2013 find out they have to pay a 4% tax when they sell their home for this

Don’t worry. The “right people” will get waivers. They’ll still get health care but will be exempt from the “tax”.
