Why am I not surprised? You expected a rational world? We lost that world when Americans voted for Obama by their own free choosing.
This is by far the worst decision SCOTUS has ever made. America died today. There's no other way to frame this. It's over.

The ONLY surprising thing about this decision is how many people are surprised by it. Anyone with even just one foot in reality knew it would be upheld. But us “doomers and gloomers” were ridiculed. Well, who has the last laugh now? I knew just by the tenor of the (tough) questioning during the oral arguments that obamacare would be upheld.
It’s going to be fun listening to Hannity tonight. Last night he was bragging and crowing about the “devastating” one-two punch (obamacare and contempt vote) that would finish off obama today. Well, the first punch turned out to be nothing but wishful thinking. And the second punch? Even if Holder is voted in contempt, IT WILL BE COMPLETELY IGNORED BY THE MEDIA as they brag about a bi-partisan SCOTUS giving King obama everything he demanded. Ninety percent of the people in the US will never know about it. Hannity will be spinning like a top tonight.
I was wondering the same thing.. EVERY DECISION OBAMA HAS MADE IS NULL AND VOID. When’s Arpaio’s news conference that the media will totally ignore?
Been a while since my civics classes but I believe those kinds of things have to go through Congress. I don’t know how that can happen on Day 1.

Could this Supreme Court ruling become a modern-day “Dred Scott” decision?
I’m starting to wonder if the ‘contempt’ this is all a dog and pony show.. To appease Republicans but the vote being held on the same day SCOTUS upheld Obamacaer to protect Holder from media scrutiny. Speaker Boehner is a coward and a traitor.
As I’m sitting here trying to digest this, shock and outrage giving away to fatigue from getting up way too early...I’m beginning to agree that maybe this will galvanize people and help the “get out the vote” effort to boot Obama.
And, on the flip side, this will galvinize the Kings’s flagging campaign like nothing else could possibly have done. I have no hope or optimism whatsoever for November. I doubt we even hold onto the House.
Perhaps the worst part of this decision is that it stands for the proposition that the Supreme Court has no interest in the TRUTH.
Obama and the democrats insisted that this was not a TAX. They even argued that in court, but in the final analysis it was clear that unless the mandate was a TAX then it could not be constitutional even by the most liberal interpretation of the law. Then they changed tunes and claimed that it wasn’t a “penalty” but a tax. The Supreme Court then accepted that argument, ignored all the LIES that the Obama attorneys had said in court and then ruled on the basis that it was a TAX.
I think Daryl Issa should call a hearing on the procedures that the Supreme Court used on this case. He should call each and every Justice before his committee and ask them directly “DID YOU EVEN READ THIS LAW BEFORE YOU DECLARED IT CONSTITUTIONAL”.
If they are called, they will LIE. They don’t give a damn about the TRUTH.
We no longer are a Constitutional republic. We are an Oligarchy and a Dictatorship.
WE THE PEOPLE have no contract with this government.
I don’t see how this gets repealed. We’d need 66 seats in the Senate to get there...we’re nowhere near that.
Absolutely unsurprising given the Wickard, Raich, Roe, and Kelo USSC cases.
I remember well all the smarty pants who condemned the Harriet Meirs nomination! So we got Roberts instead! Way to go!
Bottom Line: Obama LIED, and Freedom DIED!!
I doubt Harriet Meirs would have done this tho, Bush’s FIRST choice til all the crybabies protested.

He is trying to get all his facts airtight. Until then, but not before that.
It is my uneducated guess he has been waiting:
1. To get all his facts airtight.
2. Drop the bombshell after the SC had its say.

Great couple days, eh? First the AZ ruling and now this. obama is handing our asses to us on a platter. I’m not even confidant of the Holder contempt vote. Not that most of the country would ever hear of it anyway if he is voted in contempt.
I knew and warned people. It was obvious when he swore in Hussein not once, not twice but supposedly three times and two of those behind closed doors. Just what happened behind those doors, huh? Roberts was a party to whatever that was and "they" had him from that moment on.

The only problem with that is the Supreme Court allowed the States to opt out of the Medicaid expansion! The Federal Government can not withhold the Medicaid payments for the states opting out!
Time to buck up get Zero out of office replace Roberts with a true conservative on the court. Kennedy has proven to be more conservative than Roberts. Roberts is a liberal in conservative clothing!!!
