If this thing stands past 2013, it stands forever. Once this thing goes live it will never die...until the country goes belly up. We cant get 67 seats in the Senate before this thing goes into effect, and its highly unlikely we’d get them at all.
Romney says he will repeal it. Now, Romney may be a liar. I’m not being smart about that. Its a distinct possibility. I dont think he’s a conservative. He may be lying every time he opens his mouth. He may get in office and immediately endorse Obamacare, and sign a bill to accelerate funding. Hell, he may put his hand on a copy of the ACA to take the oath of office, and pledge to defend and protect Elena Kagan. To those of you who make your main point that you dont believe Romney, I can not give you any concrete evidence that you are wrong.
But I take Obama at his word. He will not repeal it. He will fight any and all efforts to repeal it by any means that he can, and to advance it and the government control of healthcare at every turn. I Challenge anyone on this board to dispute this point. If Obama wins, there is no doubt that Obamacare stands. I KNOW what Obama is, and that he isn’t lying.
If you have, to this point, sworn that you wont vote for Romney, I ask you respectfully to reconsider. We can’t take this one back. We dont get a do over. There is no live to fight another day on universal health care. If you will not reconsider, I wont call you names and if you choose to call me some, well, again I can’t stop you. I wont care, but I wont reciprocate.
Again, Romney may be a liar. But Obama is certainly telling you the truth. If you take a knee on this one, then understand that Obamacare is a part of your future, and your children’s and grandchildren’s future...forever. As always, vote your conscience.
Exactly. It's time for choosing. Romney or Obama. One of them will be POTUS next year and not supporting one of them is to stand for nothing.
There are Americans buried around the world who gave us these rights Obama wants to take away. We owe it to them to to stand our ground and not be cheese eating surrender monkeys in this dark hour.
