But it says per SCOTUSblog: In opening his statement in dissent, Kennedy says: “In our view, the entire Act before us is invalid in its entirety.”
Actually, it was 5-4. Kennedy voted with Alito, Scalia, & Thomas. OK, I thought I was going to throw up when I heard; HOWEVER, perhaps there is a silver lining.
1. Obama has passed the LARGEST tax increase in the history of our Republic. Get the commercials ready using his own words. 2. Obama can't fire up his "folk" with the meme that 4 white guys and an Uncle Tom took away your health care. 3. Congress can't penalize the States for not expanding their Medicaid funding.
We need to get fired up, get mobilized and hammer this. Removing Obama and 2010 Redux is our only hope. IMHO

I see. Remarkably confused reporting, first we got “mandate struck down”, then we got that it was 6-3 to uphold the mandate as a tax, now it turns out it was 5-4 for that position and Roberts really did sell us out.
Brilliant: we now have completely unlimited government. All Congress has to do is impose a confiscatory tax on anyone who doesn’t comply with whatever they decide, and hey-presto, it’s not illegal to fail to comply, but you lose all your assets and livelihood to the IRS if you don’t, and get thrown in the slammer, not for failing to comply, but for tax evasion if you refuse to give them up.
