Here is video of what actually took place of the 'mayhem.'
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swc5bWhaZKE
The Mayhem starts at 1:50.

Doesn't the left protest Bush's home regularly?
there was a time we could go to our representatives home and ask for representation from him/her.

Any mob that descends on a homestead deserves the consequences of the intrusion especially when children are at home.

I was supportive of the EDL, but if its tactics involve thuggery, I’ll condemn the bastards.

I’ll check out the video. Highly probable the media is misrepresenting the facts.

The “mob” was a group of constituents, all but two of whom remained in the street, who accompanied a representative of their group to the MEP’s home to hand-deliver a letter.

The MEP lied on the stand about what went on, and the judge would not view any of the video evidence of what went on.

These were political prosecutions through and through, as the judge was a Muslim and a friend of the MEP in question.

The Muslims in the video segment before the EDL are calling for jihad and violence. The EDL is standing in front of the MEP’s house with signs and had no signs of violence. Like a Tea Party picket.

Even if the letter delivering was peaceful, what about the further actions, the flashmob antics?.

The EDL are a bunch of knuckle dragging thugs, who do nothing to help the cause of real British conservatives and patriots. They make those of us on the British right look like small minded racists. Stop looking at them with rosey glasses.

Five jailed after EDL ‘flash demonstrations’ in Brierfield and Simonstone

‘FIVE people have been jailed at Preston Crown Court for their part in disorder in Brierfield last summer.

They had admitted a variety of offences on the second day of a trial earlier this year. Two others failed to appear at court for the trial and warrants have been issued for their arrest.

Lancashire Constabulary launched an investigation last July after about 25 suspected members of the English Defence League gathered in Colne Road, Brierfield, for a so-called “flash demonstration”.

Before they arrived in Brierfield, the defendants and others moved around Lancashire and were tracked by police in a series of so-called “flash demonstrations” which started in Blackburn and moved to Accrington, Clitheroe, Simonstone and finally Brierfield where disorder broke out.

Nobody was seriously hurt in the disturbance.’

EDL gang jailed after East Lancashire ‘mob protest’

‘AN English Defence League mob which descended on an East Lancashire town for a flash mob protest have been branded ‘a pack of wild animals’.

Five of the gang have today been jailed for their parts in the brawl.

One Asian teenager was punched and kicked during the disturbance last July and another Asian man was run over as around 25 EDL supporters rolled into Brierfield last July.

Ringleader Bernard Holmes has been jailed for 18 months for his role in co-ordinating the protest, which ended when a rival gang of Asian youths confronted the mob in the Castle Street area of the town.

And Lancashire Police have secured a five year anti-social behaviour order on Holmes, 26, of Bolton Road, Blackburn, preventing him from organising any further ‘flash mob’ protests. He admitted a racially aggravated public disorder charge.

His ‘lieutenants’ Leonard Hawley, 47, of Worcester Road, Blackburn, Jason Smith, 43, formerly of Burnley but now of Hollinge Road, Todmorden, David Wilson, 47,of Devon Road, Blackburn, who admitted the same offence, were each jailed for 37 weeks.

David Garratt, 45, of Beckett Street, Darwen, who confessed to possession of an offensive weapon, was jailed for 47 weeks.

Six others from Todmorden, Chorley, Clitheroe and Blackburn were given suspended prison sentences, after admitting using threatening behaviour as part of the same incident.

Passing sentence Judge Norman Wright said freedom of speech was something enjoyed by everyone in the UK, no matter how repugnant the views expressed may be.

But the judge, sitting at Preston Crown Court, said the events of that day saw ‘middle-aged men running around like a pack of animals’.’

You are either a liar or an idiot.

Firstly, the judge viewed the video and CCTV evidence, which is why he specifically called them a pack of animals.
By English/British law, the judge HAS to view all video and CCTV evidence.

Secondly, the judge is a Muslim?. Are you off your nut?.
Judge NORMAN WRIGHT is a Muslim?.

EDL mob was like ‘a pack of animals’

‘“Groups of largely middle aged men were running round like a pack of animals and aggressive behaviour abounded.”

That was the description of racist scenes which erupted in Brierfield following a string of flash demonstrations by the English Defence League (EDL).

Judge Norman Wright sentenced 11 supporters of the English Defence League - including two men from Chorley - for their parts in scenes of public disorder on July 2 last year.

The court heard relations between the EDL and police had broken down and on July 2 last year a string of flash demonstrations took place in towns across Lancashire.

In Clitheroe, Accrington and Simonstone, protests were largely peaceful but when the group moved to Brierfield - a town in which 40% of the population is of Asian heritage - trouble erupted.

CCTV taken from the town shows the group chanting racist abuse and waving placards bearing racist slogans.

A Muslim man was attacked; another Asian man was run over by a car and a road was blocked.

Judge Wright said: “It must have been a truly terrifying experience and one which affected both white and Asian people.”

“What emerged was nothing more than disgraceful public order, underpinned by overt racist behaviour.”

"EDL mob was like ‘a pack of animals’"

I do not understand your point. You can clearly see they were not a mob but the media is calling them a mob and every other name in the book and you seem to be buying their slander.

The EDL individuals are not making a defense in court and that is a very sad day for your court system wouldn't you say?

He didn’t defend himself. No video was presented as evidence. You are mistaken.

"Even if the letter delivering was peaceful, what about the further actions, the flashmob antics?."

If it was peaceful it wasn't a mob. so, no flash'mob'.
Are you suggesting it should be illegal to talk to your friends on the net? What are you trying to say here?

I do not understand you reply. I posted not one but three stories about the EDL’s antics, which involved violence, racism and intimidation. The pack of animals quote is from the judge, describing their behaviour in Blackburn, Accrington, Clitheroe, Simonstone and Brierfield. You clearly read the links I posted. If that not violent mob behaviour, what is?.

And I dont understand what point you are trying to make about the court system either.

‘He didn’t defend himself.’

And?. He let a lawyer do so, like 99.99% of defendants. Whats your point?.

‘No video was presented as evidence’

Again, and?. I didnt say there was, all I replied to risen feenix, was that if CCTV and video evidence is presented, then barring an objection from the defence (which the judge can throw out), he/she will be duty bound to watch it. A judge cannot ‘refuse’ to watch it. As risen to me seemed to be suggesting.

Also, although the news stories dont say one way or the other, you and I do not know, because we were not in Preston Crown Court, whether there was or wasnt cctv/video evidence. I have googled this story and surfed the net and none of the news stories mention cctv/video evidence one way or the other. If you know they didnt show or have any, please tell me how you know.

Lastly, you miss the glaringly obvious point: that such evidence was unnecessary, given the evidence from the victims, witnesses, by-standers and of course the police themselves. Not to mention the physical evidence.

Again, my replies have been regarding the EDL antics AFTER the peaceful protest seen in the film. Where they ran amok.

From what I am reading on a number of sources there were no other witnesses other then Sajjad Karim and his family. The police found no one there they have all left by the time they got there. If it was a mob way wasn’t there a broken window or scratched car or something?

Are you dense?.

I am AGAIN referring to the EDL’s actions AFTER the Karim home visit, when they ran amok in several towns.

The only actions I remember that turned violent was when some Muslims and so called anti-fascists starting throwing things at the EDL in Lancashire two years ago. In April this year it was peaceful as far as I know.

the scotsman said, Are you dense?.

What is up with the name calling are you trying to pick a fight or part of the anti-fascists group?

1—The actions the men have been jailed for happened last year, July to be exact. It may have been peaceful this year, but clearly not last year. For some reason, you seem simply to want to ignore what they did.

2—I called you dense because three times I referred to the actions that day which have got them jailed, yet you kept ignoring it and only referred to the letter-handing-over at the MP’s house. I apologise for calling you dense, if only for the fact that it is obvious that you are playing some sort of game with me.

3—I am part of no anti-fascists. Many of the AF left are as big a bunch of thugs as the far right. BUT as a conservative and non-racist/anti-semitic patriot, I do oppose the EDL and BNP.

1. I seen the video of what took place in October 2010. The police was facing the EDL when a group of Muslims and fascists started throwing things at them. The EDL ran them down and some of the EDL was taken down by the police when they gave chase. One of the rock throwers ran into a restaurant and that video makes the EDL look really bad because it shows the EDL making threats to those in the restaurant and some windows were broken.

In July of 2011 there is no evidence of wrong doing other then one mans statements. There was a mosque that was spray painted by a 19 year old girl that was with the EDL admitted she did it. but 18 months in prison for someone else graffiti when she got community service is a bit much.

2. For the fourth time there was no actions that got them jail time. It was hyped up news and lies by one man.

3. i can understand being opposed to the BNP but no the EDL if your a conservative. Yes there are actions that got out of hand that restaurant action was over the top but no one is perfect.

Let me show you something (translated here.)

Vlaams Belang web site

Vlaams Belang is the political party that opposes Islam in Belgium this man threatened death to a representative and his family and got community service as his sentence. In Britian all I can tell is this EDL leader got 18 months in prison for knocking on a door with 40 people behind him and then one of them spread paint on a mosque.

I do not see equal justice in Europe.

Question:
What do you think of Islam? Enemy or not?
