Don Grady - My Three Sons star dies at 68

Funny how, as a kid, I took those kind of deaths to heart. To this day I still remember hearing about the deaths of Bub, Mr. Wilson (Dennis the Menace), Hoss Cartwright, and Walt Disney. That kind of news really shocked me back then.

I remember when they passed away also. In an eerie coincidence, shortly before the original Mr. Wilson (Joseph Kearns) passed away, one of his last episodes was a story about Mr. Wilson telling Dennis how he had made out his will, and was leaving Dennis his pocket watch. I'm sure this probably sparked a few conspiracy theories at the time. Joseph Kearns was not ill, however - his death was very sudden and unexpected.

ME TV is doing an all-day marathon of My Three Sons today, in memory of Don Grady. They just showed the wedding episode.
