Question was put, could the Speaker have Holder jailed?

No.

The contempt document will be referred to the federal prosecutor for DC, who works for Eric Holder.

He would have to indict Holder, or bring it to a grand jury for action, in order for it to go anywhere beyond Congress.

It does not involve removal from office.

That is called impeachment and conviction.

THe House impeaches, the Senate convicts.

Remember Clinton was impeached by the House but was not convicted by the Senate, therefore he continued in office.

Sorry, but that just does not sound logical, that an AG would be incharge of his own prosecution. Must be some Independent Prosecutor or some other pathway involved somehow.

Although you may very well be right. Hope not.
