I talked to one of the movers who moved his stuff to D.C. when he was first elected. He said every piece of furniture, including lamps, was white. He also said Jackson was one of the dumbest people he’d ever met.
People with all white furniture, are putting on a display room...purity of sorts. This is not a place where they function, but simply a show room atmosphere. Drinks are rarely if ever offered in such a room, and you would rarely offer any snacks.
