That’s too bad. I hope the primary challenger put a scare into hatch though and he changes some of his ways.

OTOH, a big primary win like this could make him feel bullet-proof and he’ll still continue to be a pain in the butt.

Yeah; Hatch won by a 2 to 1 margin. I’m sure he’s pissing on himself right now out of sheer fear. (/sarc.) Dude is a gazillion years old. This is his last 6 year term. He ain’t changin’ sh**.

Why would it? As with many other Republicans, including the current Presidential nominee, he has already shown that he can win even in the face of opposition by conservatives and Tea Partiers. What incentive does Hatch have to "change his ways" when he's virtually assured another six years in the Senate (after all, we have to rally 'round the RINO now to keep the Dem from winning, right)?
