sounds like New Orleans police.

The market price for a cop is probably lower in Mexico, but it's the same basic phenomenon: drug-war-inflated profits allow violent criminals to corrupt law enforcement. Yet another of the many harms of our absurd War On Drugs.

A cop in New Orleans isn’t getting rich and even a stupid can figure one isn’t getting wealthy in Mexico either less they are dirty.
