Well, that is why I didn’t point it out and was happy the other poster took the brunt of the expected reaction. FRee Republic is a forgiving place, and I make more than my share of typos and misspellings. In fact, I just tagged one of my own on another thread.
OTOH, I am a former editor and struggle with a compulsion to correct things like mis-placed apostrophes (does anyone know the correct use of the apostrophe anymore?) and using the wrong (but similar sounding) word, or to correct objects (who/whom). It’s a gift and a curse, as Monk (the famous obsessive/compulsive TV detective) would say.
You are doing fine, and your meaning came through loud and clear. I’ll try to restrain myself.
(Did I mention that the over use of parentheses is another ‘crime’ in the English language?)
Thank You and am LOL. Your criticism is appreciated, even though am too old to learn new tricks. That dog does not hunt anymore. This old dog fell out of the wagon at an early age. Pulled the wagon till his back was all bent out of shape and then realized, dang the wagon is overflowing ... no room for this old dog. Thank You for the laughing and it was directed at myself.
