It isn't "...THEIR food stamp money..." money.
That food stamp money came out of mine and other taxpayers' pockets. Money I could have used to take better care of my own family.
There is RAMPANT FRAUD in the system and it needs to be ferreted out.
Dedicated scrutiny of more than just food stamp records is needed to find fraud. Laws already exist that exclude those who sold their benefits from getting more benefits for either a certain time period or forever. And lying about income to get benefits is a crime. What’s wanting is not the laws but the enforcement of same.
