I am so pissed off over the food stamp (EBT card) fiasco. The whole mess should be dumped and we just use UPS or Fed Ex or even the post office to deliver a box of powdered milk, powdered eggs, dried potatoes and some cans of soup to these peoples homes each week.

At most, it should cost about 10 or 20 per person per week.

If we used USPS, it might delay it going under for a few more years. Maybe then they could stop relying on junkmail to survive.

That’s how it worked back in the 30’s. Except nothing got delivered, you walked (if you had to) ever how many miles it was to the local town to get your sack of “relief”. Can goods, dried meat, potatoes, flour, corn meal and the like. No money, just food to prevent starvation.

Now, it’s possible to live a pretty darn good life suckling at the taxpayer teat. Plus, you have sooo much time to be about birthing those welfare babies. A husband or father isn’t necessary, just this or that man for a night or two and nine months later your various ‘allowances’ get raised.

It’s like that video song says “All you gotta do is f***, nine months later you get the bucks.”
