Hey Issa: What do you mean MIGHT have been? That is EXACTLY what it was/is. And of course it was political. Everything that Obama, et al, do is POLITICAL.
It seems the Repubs in Congress forget, or don’t care, that Obama is using the Constitution as a door mat, a urinal, and do anything else to anything that PROTECTS the rights individual citizens in America.
A no-brainer.

I mean really...Did anyone think the Obama administration WOULDN’T go after our guns???
He said so himself, back in 2008-09...”We are working on some “things” under the radar to address the issue of gun control.”

Waiting ‘till now to say this is smart. (I’m starting to agree with the people who say that Issa knows what he’s doing and is laying traps). He waits until LSM finally starts reporting before he say’s this.
I think he has even baited them with the “doesn’t appear to be coverup or WH involvement” or whatever. He knows damn well there is, and probably has documented proof. Instead, he gives the msm some bait to get them reporting on this.

Issa is being far more diplomatic about it than I would be.

Is that more incompetence, or an indication that the DoJ wasnt really interested in convictions? No, it's worse: There was no attempt to trace these guns. They only showed up when Mexicans were killed. He didn't care. He wanted blood to dramatize the case as justification for more control.
Therefore, Holder wants to disarm Americans while arming our enemies. See tag line.

Issa's playing poker here. He can't state everything he thinks and knows while it's all still playing out.
A couple months ago, I even heard liberal hump Wolf Blitzer say something along the lines of, "Some conservatives believe, from the way the operation was run, that it was always about creating a crisis in order to strengthen gun control laws in the US. And I can't see any other motivation that makes sense."
I'm still waiting for them to come up with one too. It'll be a hoot, I'm sure. The type of convoluted nonsense only people like Alan Colmes or Eleanor Clift will even be able to repeat with a straight face.

I’m sure they suspected it sooner, but wanted to have the best proof possible before formally announcing it. Now that See BS News even confesses the scheme, it looks like the chances of the public believing Issa and his gang are on a witch hunt have gone way way down.

If Fast and Furious had been the product of a conspiracy by the administration to promote gun control legislation, the program would have come from the top down, not from the bottom up. Which is why they are so desperate to cover up the 'top down' documents. There was no intention to convict on the gunrunning .... but people HAD to die for F&F to "work" i.e. for it to be used to push gun control. Something this big didn't come for an ATF office. "Murdergate" is an accurate name.

Unquestionably.
The WH was counting on the RKBA carom shot from blood in the streets in Mexico.

The truth is often just way too offensive and outrageous to state outright until you “soften up” the receiver.
I wouldn’t make it very far in politics, because I believe and would state that democrats are communists, no two ways about it.
But, we saw the [feigned] outrage when someone said just that earlier this year.

It doesn’t make any difference.
No matter what is contained in the documents they refuse to release, no matter if Holder or anybody else is implicated, no matter if Zero is defeated in November...

Fast and Furious:
Barack Obama's Bloodiest Scandal and Its Shameless Cover-Up
by Katie Pavlich and Emily Durante
Overview
Two hundred and rising. That's the death tally for the Obama administration's "Operation Fast & Furious."
The program was supposedly designed to "win the drug war" by deliberately walking more than two thousand guns across the border to Mexico.
But instead of catching drug lords, "Operation Fast & Furious."Despite the protests of gun store owners and ATF whistle-blowers,
federal agents deliberately violated federal law -and common sense-
and wound up placing American weapons into the hands of Mexico's most violent criminals.
And when the guns started showing up at crime scenes-including the murder scene of a U.S. border patrol agent
-the cover-up began.
So reveals Townhall editor Katie Pavlich in her news-breaking exposé Fast and Furious: Barack Obama's Bloodiest Scandal.
While the White House has claimed ignorance of the program, Pavlich debunks their lies, denials and excuses
by demonstrating incontestable proof that President Obama and Attorney General Holder did willfully and knowingly sanction the program in order to advance their anti-second amendment agenda.
A horrifying look at one of the bloodiest scandals in the history of the American presidency, Fast and Furious is this season's sensational, must-listen book that will rock America-and the Obama administration-to its core.

There is no plausible chain of logic that the Fast&Furious operation could have led to any arrests. Start by asking what the “flaw” was in the program often reported as a “flawed program”. From the operation parameters set by Fast and Furious it worked exactly as intended. It's resulted in hundreds of deaths with more to come. The only “flaw” is that they got caught breaking state, federal, and international law yet miraculously there have been no criminal charges filed. Apparently some people are above the law even when caught red handed. The our prison system is filled with people who have done far less yet Democrats have the unmitigated gall to accuse Republicans of a witch hunt?! Spine-less RINOs are even worse than the lying Democrats.

General question to all. These documents. Literal? or figurative? If literal, then can’t Obama’s people and Holder start the paper shreddars? If figurative, nevermind about the question.
