It’s a proven fact that long-term marijuana use decays the brain.

As will sufficient alcohol. And drinking Drano is another way to say goodbye to this cruel world. How hard do we have to strive for the easily corrupted hand of government to save people from themselves?

What’s your excuse? Is it the bottle or the junk food?

I would ask for a citation but we both know you dont have one.

It’s a proven fact that long-term marijuana use decays the brain.

...and the proof is?

Frankly, the need to use mind altering substances in order to tolerate life is a bit stupid, IMHO, but then one has to contemplate that alcohol remains legal, and has serious long term physically debilitating results if carried to the point of alcoholism. The seriously LESS debilitating and unproven long term physical destruction of Marijuana remains in question.

What is it in comparison that would justify the one being legal and the other banned by government?

“It’s a proven fact that long-term marijuana use decays the brain.”

Says who?

There is not a single recorded case of cannabis causing any damage to the brain or body. Nor is there even a single recorded case of permanent changes of any kind to the body. Even when abused, there is no such thing as toxicity or physical addiction when it comes to cannabis. It has not even been conclusively proven to cause dangerous impairment in drivers. The only conclusive side effect is lung damage and that can easily be avoided by eating or vaporizing cannabis. And don't forget the vast industrial benefits of legal hemp.

Alcohol, on the other hand, is 100% undoubtedly toxic and highly physically addictive. If you consume enough alcohol, it is 100% medically guaranteed to rot your brain and every other organ. The liver is critical and usually goes first so you rarely get to witness the full brain rot. Countless people literally die from alcohol poisoning every year. Alcohol is so addictive that one can die from the withdrawal. Not even heroin withdrawal can do this.
