Shoreline retreat may actually be the effect of the East Coast regions SINKING, as the plates that support that part of the East Coast pulls further and farther away from its neighbors.

But so far, there is no constituency for that theory, and no easily applicable reason to raise taxes to accomplish an altogether amorphous objective, as in the instance of global warming, and subsequent melting of the Arctic ice sheets on Greenland.

I have see what you posted somewhere else and I find it plausible. Do you recall where did you found it, as I’d like to read the source? I also recall a program that talked about the lands of the mid-west USA and Canada rising as the weight of the snow and ice melted from the last ice age. Thanks.
