Seriously, the liberalism that crept (or stampeded) into the American Church in the 1960s was premised on a misguided "compassion" that confused Jesus's teachings with communism, or at least socialism.

I agree .. but even worse are the blacks.
They've been lied to by the Dems (we're here to hep 'ya) since forever; their entire culture has self-destructed, yet 95% still vote Dem.

Many Catholics came from oppressive places to seek refuge in the United States and many of them have slowly evolved into the very attitude that they fled.

They vote Democrat, they love Democrat, and they love Democrat because Progressives preach a cosmic social justice that is never satisfied and always fed, no matter what it demands; including little babies, tax money and the dignity of others.

Because the Democrat machine took care of my Irish/Italian/Polish great-grandparents back in the day, and we have always voted for them since in the name of SOCIAL JUSTICE (since they proved they would take care of us poor immigrant workin' folk in the face of mean old WASPish capitalists).

Don't get too excited. If SCOTUS strikes down Obamacare the Church will declare a truce and move to a neutral corner.
