In addition to some old crapped-out C130-b models formerly flown as fire bombers until the wings started coming off, Lockheed has built a civilian version of the Herky Bird, the L-100/ Lockheed Model 382, since 1964. L-100 production ended in 1992 with 114 aircraft delivered. At least 75 or so are still in service.
