"Barbar was then planning to kill his wife's lover in Texas and flee to Lebanon but was stopped by police in New Mexico, the Press-Enterprise reported."

Barbar is also a Lebanese Christian name. I believe that it is the Arabic version of the Spanish name Barbaro, the masculine form of the more common Barbara (which is a common name among speakers of many languages, including English). Saint Barbara, the Catholic martyr, is particularly venerated among Arab Christians, including in Lebanon: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eid_il-Burbara.
Adultery leads to all kinds of problems.
Maybe the ancients were onto something when they demanded strict punishment for it.
We disregard the wisdom of our elders to our own detriment.
Billy Jeff would.
Thanks for the correction. I remember when she used to do a lot of reporting from Lebanon for CNN, and got that confused with her dad's country of origin.
Yea, but if the ammo ever runs low, it would be comforting to know that the only fear a Zombie knows is a rampaging necro...See the wisdom of Sam Kinnison for further clarification.
...IT NEVER ENDS!!! OH !!! OHHHHHHH!!!!!! ;)
Oops! Misread the part about Laz BEING a zombie....That could REALLY be a problem.....
"...perhaps we'll succeed in imposing one or other of two standards of sexual conduct. (1) Ideally, no one will dare to have relations with any respectable citizen woman except his own wedded wife, or sow illegitimate and bastard seed in courtesans, or sterile seed in males in defiance of nature. (2) Alternatively, while suppressing sodomy entirely, we might insist that if a man does have intercourse with any woman (hired or procured in some other way) except the wife he wed in holy marriage with the blessing of the gods, he must do so without any other man or woman getting to know about it. If he fails to keep the affair secret, I think we'd be right to exclude him by law from the award of state honors, on the grounds that he's no better than an alien."

Oops. Better ban paternity tests!/s
About 10% of people are not born to the man who was told he is the father.
Drug stores recently offered over the counter paternity test kits (you have to send the samples in to a lab).
A lot of nervous women out there I imagine. ;)
I have often thought of the hell that boy would have unleashed on today’s libs.
Warms the heart thinking about it.
Maybe the ancients were onto something when they demanded strict punishment for it.”
Agreed.
After reading so many juvenile postings on this subject, it's apparent that FR has its share of amoral SOBs.
Yeah I agree.
Too bad Sam learned too late that “coke” doen’t go well with everything... especially speeding on a highway.
RIP Sam Kinnison
Uh oh...Think about it for a sec. It would be the opposite once he Zombified. A zombie Laz wouldn’t be chasing ‘dead’ people to...well, the implications disturb me even more than the other way around....
I live about 20 miles from the accident site and drive the road often. Twisty, dangerous and full of drunk indians. Actually it was a couple drunk indians that caused that accident. But I have little doubt he was hauling at the time.
“How long after the croaking do the Muzzies allow defiling the body?”
This post from National Review’s The Corner from a couple of months ago, and the article linked therein, may answer your question. It is about a Moroccan imam who—I swear I’m not making this up—explained that death does not end Muslim marriages, so it is Halal (permissible) for Muslim husbands to clean their dead wife’s body and have sex with her corpse:

However, as has been said before, a Lebanese man named Michael Barbar is almost certainly a Christian, not a Muslim.
