As do I. I know a LOT of gay people. One of whom is one of my best friends. I would never deny her happiness. Most of my gay friends show more caring and compassion then a LOT of people on this board. Flame away, I don't give a rats ass. I also admire the Cheneys quite a bit. Same here, I have several gay friends. They're great people and they are productive citizens in society. I would never ever dream of discriminating against them because of what they do in their bedroom.

[ Finding a truly happy gay couple is like finding a minority of a minority of a minority. Like finding a Black Jewish Conservative.
Agreed.......although I’m not sure what “intersexed from birth” really means. ]
They were born somewhere inbetween male and female and the doctor advised the parents that they should make the child a girl because it was “easier to dig a hole than pitch a tent”. She probably should have been sent inthe other direction but she was raised and socialized as a girl, but her chromosomes are kinda messed up, as in they are XXY. She prefers living as a woman because she was raised that way, but is attracted to women because of her genes and prenatal brain wiring.

Some people are genetically more inclined to become an alcoholic(me included)
But my dad never encouraged me to become one.

The homosexuals that keep to themselves and keep their "lifestyle" in the bedroom are the exception NOT the rule. When the 2% maybe 3% of the population that are homosexuals quit raping my mind by forcing their perversions and lies into the norms of society then I'll quit being judgmental and accusatory.
If I were to ever personally or professionally meet someone who doesn't wear their homosexuality like a bright and shiny badge then I would treat them with the same respect as any other human being. Until then, I'll keep being judgmental and accusatory.
For instance, there are exponentially far more women (the biological SEX 'woman' not the GENDER) that get raped in the military than there are poor homosexuals that have been discriminated against in the military. Yet, the military sees fit to let homosexuality run unchecked now and continues to do nothing about the women who are raped and assaulted.
Sorry for being a pragmatist.

[ Poe and Mary Cheney have two children: Cheney gave birth to a son in 2007, and a daughter in 2009. They live together in Virginia.
Correction, Mary Cheney has two children the other woman has none. ]
Scarily there is work being done in science to create Gametes from adult stem cells this has the positive advantage of allowing people who have lost their gonads via accident or cancer to reproduce, but that allows EVERYONE to be a SPERM/EGG donor!!!!!!

So she was BIOLOGICALLY born sort of asexual or a hermaphrodite? I've heard of this happening and it's extremely rare. So unlike someone born biologically 100% male or female and "feels" like they should be the opposite GENDER your friend was literally born in between SEXES of which the GENDER issues have been secondary. Your friend sounds as though she wasn't simply "born gay" instead she was born with a biological syndrome or rare genetic mutation.
I see absolutely nothing wrong with that nor should anyone else. However there is the little homosexual agenda where they interchange, combine, and obfuscate the definitions of SEX and GENDER so that the ignorants within our society get confused and easily manipulated.

Yikes! These are the same people who would likely be screaming out loud about the horrors of some Monsanto genetically-modified corn.
But they'll mix their bone marrow with somebody else's egg and a third person's sperm in some heated lab petri dish, to produce glow-in-the-dark, superstrong albino midget babies who can time travel and levitate or other mutations.
Really, human babies should only be made according to the original recipe.

If compassion means pretending that sin is not sin, then that is not compassion, it is just denial.
As a christian, I know that God loves all sinners, though He abhors sin. He has opened a way for sinners to repent and be reconciled to Him through His Son. Now that is compassion.

The way I have seen it through observation is that it is kinda like alcoholism.
The “Homoesexual Lifestyle” is a way of promoting those who may be predisposed to it to “join in on the fun”....
Imagine if there was a group actively promoting the “Alcoholic Lifestyle” (well besides celebrity-tard culture)..... The Libs would be screaming bloody murder about it...
Imagine re-naming any event where Alcohol is drank into a “Alcohol Pride” event....
What would the alcohol pride flag look like, I would imagine a stripy flag with Yellow (for beer), Red (for wine), Green (for green apple schnapps) and transparent/wite for everclear.........

If any of my children were homosexuals, I would be devastated. I can’t imagine saying I was proud of them. I would love them, but would never say I was happy for them or proud of them. I would pray for them to see God’s plan and to abandon their sinful lifestyle.

Carefully worded congratulations by all, the word “marriage” is not used
Dick and Lynn Cheney always have stood behind their daughter and loved her. They are good parents
At least her children have Grandpa for a male role model, and I hope they have him for many more years.
